Pavilion sp3 not updating

In order to get updates for Office and other Microsoft products as well, you’ll have to “update” your Windows Update to Microsoft Update.

When you are using an Office 365 installation or a Click-to-Run installation of Office 2013, Office 2016 or Office 2019, then the updates will not be offered via Windows Update but will be installed automatically.

Your instructions to download and make backup CD's of XP SP3 plus all drivers and updates, then install them AFTER running the Recovery does NOT answer the question asked which was: "how I can update/modify this partition,so when I recover my PC with it, I don't need to re update everything over again, such as reinstalling Sp3,updating drivers and etc."Unless I missed something...

As Bob mentioned earlier, there are no easy ways to do such a procedure.. You have a recovery option that leads to XP SP1 (that's what I have)...

You can also force it to check for new updates and apply them by using the Update Options button.

In case you run into issues with an update and want to uninstall it, you can roll-back to a previous release as described in Uninstall Office 365 Click-To-Run Updates.
